Date: Friday April 30, 2010
Time: Sign up’s @ 8:00pm.

Contest Starts @ 9:00pm & goes until we’re done!

*Need to know what song 1 week before to ensure we have the song & version they like!! We will accept entries the night of the contest.

1. First 30 people to sign up will be in the contest only.
2. Contestants will enter the contest by submitting their song on the sign up on the sheet.
3. $10.00 required entry donation to participate. Raffle tickets $1.00. All proceeds go toward the Aids Bike Ride.
4. First contestant to sign up gets first choice of song and so on.
5. Contestants may use their own karaoke disc as long as the disc will play on the equipment (CD or CDG).
6. DUET’S are counted as 1 person!
7. NO REPEAT SONG’S!
8. Prizes: 1st place winner: 30 minute Massage donated by Dean Wood of “I Knead You”, 2nd place: $30. gift card & 3rd place: $20. gift card
9. Contestants will be scored on 3 categories: Originality, Entertainment Factor & Vocal Performance. So think outside the box folks! Contestants may utilize live props, back up singers, dancers, animals, etc. LOL
10. Judges score sheets will not be viewed by anyone other than Slipstress Karaoke.
11. In the event of a tie, there will be a sing off.
12. Judges will be picked by random by Slipstress Karaoke Mistress’.
13. Judges will decide the final 3 singers. The audience will be the final decision of the winner of the Benefit Contest thru purchasing the $1.00 raffle tickets & writing the name of the person they want to vote for on the ticket.
14. Contestants are allowed to sing any song they choose but their content must be limited to no longer than 6:00 minutes.
15. Should a mechanical malfunction occur or singer is distracted during the performance, the host of the contest has the option of allowing the singer to start over without being penalized.
16. Winners will be announced after the contest when the raffle tickets are tallied up by the Judges.
17. Contest rules are subject to change. Slipstress Karaoke Mistress’ reserve the right to revoke your singing privileges & spank your naughty ass!
18. This is a fun event!! It’s not about how good you are it’s about raising money for a good cause so loosen up your wallets & come on out & HAVE FUN!!
19. Remember…All proceeds go toward the Aids Bike Ride!!!
