March 14th: Benefit for Greg Carthew

Friends, from time to time the Westside 15 calls upon you, the troupe to help in a worthy cause. Our dear old friend Greg Carthew needs our help. Greg is in Columbus Tennessee and needs help to return to the Victor Valley. Our first appeal for your help will be during our beer bust on Sunday afternoon March 14. Westside 15 will hold a bake sale to raise funds, raffle drawing for prizes, as well a 50/50 drawing. Let me assure you that a fundraiser for Greg is truly a worthy cause. The Westside will contribute homemade cheesecake and fudges to the bake sale. Please go to the kitchen and take out your recipe book. Home-made items are always so good and diverse. We thank you, Greg Carthew thanks you.

March 14th: High Desert Equality Meeting

Sunday, March 14,2010 at the High desert domestic violence Program at 1pm. We will be discussing our calendar for the remainder of the year,our upcoming game night and our easter egg hunt. Your attendance is very important to us as well as your input on fund raiser. We have a couple of members participating in the AIDS Bike run and we really want to help support this cause,and make sure they have everything they need. We are striving very hard to make victorville a pleasant place to live for everyone, we can't do it alone. It's gonna take all of us.All are welcome,bring your friends. your kids,neighbors,co-workers anyone who believes in equality and this community we live in. Easter Egg Hunt at Hesperia Zoo Saturday April 3, 2010 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Hot dogs & hamburgers will be served. All children will receive a gift. This event is free. Westside 15 Supports AIDS/LifeCycle riders Jose Gomez & Phyllis Lozano

Folks The Westside is asking for your help and assistance for the upcoming AIDS Bicycle Ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles. Jose Gomez (The Marathon Man) and Ms. Phyllis Lozano of High Desert Courage Campaign will be the Victor Valley Bicycle Riders. Folks they need our help. The Westside will host a Parking lot/Rummage sale. Please do not discord items that can be sold for their benefit. A Gorilla Drag Show is in the planning stage with proceeds going to Phyllis and Jose's AIDS Bike Ride. Last year we sponsored a bake sale for Jose, this year let's have two bake sales! On special events for Jose and Phyllis the Westside will donate 25% of their net profits to this most worthy cause.
